What if I don't get a captain?
Median first-response is under 4 hours. If your gig stalls, delete it and try again with sharper details — we'll happily tune the post with you (chat below).
How do I vet a captain?
Every captain has a public profile with role, licences, bio, and posting history. You compare them side-by-side and message any you like before accepting.
Can I delete my gig?
Yes — anytime from your dashboard. Subscribers stop seeing it immediately. No questions, no fees.
What about insurance & contracts?
Boat Gigs doesn't provide standard contracts. Most professional delivery captains have their own. Always verify the captain holds the licences your insurance requires before slipping lines.
